A LONG overdue update.

Hey everyone, 

I know it's been quite some time since my last update, and I apologize. It's been non stop on our end to get your wallets finished and shipped. I kept telling myself "I need to post another update, I need to post another update," but then something inevitably comes up that needs to be taken care of, and I forget to post. It's tough having to take care of all daily operations on my own, but that's not an excuse for keeping my backers in the dark. 

I'll cut to the chase and then fill in the details after:

ALL remaining orders will be completed this week and shipped out next week. That includes Sabra and Curacao wallets, as well as all of the Patina wallets. 

What happened since the last update:

1. There was a mix up with the initial Sabra and Curacao leather orders that came in at the beginning of December. I intended to order our full order, but what came was a sample order of 2 square feet. Thankfully, they rushed our full order which arrived Thursday. Our manufacturer is cutting all of the wallets Monday, and they will all be assembled by the end of the week. 

2. The company we used to do the patina had a busy Christmas season, so our order was pushed back by a few weeks. I picked up the patina wallet parts today, and they will be assembled next week as well.

Great News!

As some of you have seen, we've begun shipping out all of your rewards!

- If you ordered Bourbon, Port, Champagne, or Licorice WITHOUT a tracker, your reward is either in your mailbox, or on its way!

- If you ordered Bourbon, Port, Champagne, or Licorice WITH a tracker, we are packing everything up this weekend and expect to have all of those shipped out by Tuesday.

- If you ordered Sabra or Curacao, I just got a call from the tannery 10 minutes ago, and the leather is being shipped out. It should be here early next week and your wallets will be made very shortly thereafter. I expect those will be shipped out the week of the 11th.

- If you ordered a Patina Wallet, they're being made now, and should be sent out around the same time as the Sabra and Curacao wallets.

I just wanted to reach out and let you know that I will be locking in all completed surveys this evening at 10PM EST. 

Please make sure you are happy with your colour and add-on selections before then. 

If you haven't had a chance to complete your survey yet, you can take as much time as you need. Just note that the sooner you fill out your survey, the sooner you will receive your wallet.

Backer Surveys Coming Soon

Hi Everyone!

It's been a bit since our last update, so I wanted to bring you up to speed. 

Surveys

We have been working with Backerkit to set up our surveys, and we will be sending them out very soon. We've tested and reworked it in order to make it a quick and easy experience for all of you. If it's your first time filling out a Backerkit survey, don't worry, it's designed to be quite straightforward. You don't need a Backerkit account in order to fill it out, just click the link and answer the questions. 

You will be able to let us know what colours you'd like, update your shipping information, and get some add-ons at a sweet discount. 

If the email does not arrive within the next week, check your spam folder to make sure it's not in there. 

Manufacturing

We are ready to roll! Here's a breakdown of what is still left to do:

1. Fill out and finalize backer surveys. 
2. Order the leather. Once we know what colours we need to order, all we have to do is make the order and the leather is on its way to our manufacturer.
3. Manufacture your wallets! We estimate that once the above is complete, it'll take 2-3 weeks to manufacture all of the wallets. 
4. Ship everything out.
